STUDENT UNION BOARD

I started volunteering with Student Union Board (SUB) my first week of college after attending their Ben Rector concert. I met so many amazing people during my semesters volunteering.

The Maintenance Shop

The Maintenance Shop is one of the few on campus bars in the nation. It hosts open mic nights, concerts, comedians, and comedy troupes.

I mainly volunteered at concerts, scanning tickets, line control, venue safety, and assisting artists with setup and tear down.

I've attended around 30+ concerts during my time volunteering. Some of them are shown to the right.

Cyclone Cinema

Cyclone Cinema screens for the community free movies every week Thursday - Sunday nights. They also sell concessions to movie goers to pay for the concessions. We have also hosted parking-lot drive in movies of more recent/big titles.

Some of the tasks that I volunteer to help with are: count people, hand out advertisements about other events, speak before movie about future events, and sell concessions.
